Recovery & Wellbeing Practitioner

As a Recovery and Wellbeing Practitioner you will work with adults on an individual face-to-face basis, telephone support service and host therapy groups with people from all backgrounds and ages.

You will work as part of a team providing information, advice, assessments, groupwork and recovery management of people who have a dependency or misuse of benzodiazepines and/or other similar drugs.

You will support individuals to enable them to self-manage their recovery, to make positive choices and healthy changes to their lifestyle through their journey of recovery of overcoming prescription drug dependence.

You will be liaising with voluntary, statutory agencies and health professionals on behalf of the clients. You must have a flexible approach, committed to the principles of confidentiality, and keep up to date client records.

Volunteer Peer

We are looking for a Volunteer Peer to work in partnership with PostScript360 and local services to provide peer-based support for individuals withdrawing by either tapering or tolerance effects by providing peer-based support for individuals who attend the weekly support group at Gloucester House at Southmead Hospital.

Helpline Volunteer

We are looking for a Helpline Volunteer to Help facilitate the telephone during core hours Monday – Friday from 10-4pm. The aim of the service is to offer a space to anyone who may need to talk about Benzos or other prescription drugs.

Volunteer Social Media and Admin Support

We are looking for a volunteer social media assistant to provide valuable social media and some general administrative office support to the organisation. The role requires comfort and skill with technology (you will be using office software programs and graphic presentation software).
